Below are Scuba Travel´s conditions concerning cancellation of a booked trip. All customers have the right to cancel their trip. The following cancellations fees will be applied: • Cancellation 60 days or more prior to the departure date, the customer shall pay the down payment as a cancellation fee. • Cancellation later then 60 days, but earlier then 36 days prior to the departure date, the customer shall pay 60% of the trips cost. • Cancellation later then 35 days, but earlier then 15 days prior to the departure date, the customer shall pay 85% of the trips cost. • Cancellation within 14 days of the departure date, the customers shall pay the entire trips cost.
The given information that Scuba Travel has in its written information, ie. the trips content, amount of dives, diving at a special location, is provided under the pretense of optimal conditions, ie political/ governmental decisions, weather, etc. The dive leader or boat captain that is in charge of the trip always has the right to change the contents of the trip due to weather, political decisions, or other acts that lie outside of their control that can affect the customers or ships safety. In this situation, the customer has no right to compensation or refund. The travel terms are available here as a pdf in the Swedish language only.
