With her stern wedged into the island at around 80 m, she lies against the island almost vertical. Having been underwater for almost 100 hundred years, she is now part of the reef and home to many fish and soft corals. The second wreck is the Aida. She lays between 25 - 60 m and sunk some 40 years ago. She to is home to many small fish and corals. Although smaller in size, Little Brother is just as big in attracting palegics. There is a tremendous gorgonian forest at around 30 m, and the smaller island is also coverd in soft corals which are vibrant in colour and teeming with life Elphinstone Due to strong currents, diving at Elphinstone is a real adrenaline rush. To reach the Northern plateau you need motorized fins, but once there you´ll find yourself amongst White Tips, Grey Reef Sharks, or maybe even Hammarheads. The Southern plateau is located at 55m and is good place for spotting big pelagics. |
